By using Glyphset, you agree to these terms: use the tools fairly, follow the rules of the apps you paste into, and accept the tools as they are. They cover every page on the site, including all font and text generators.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled.

Anyone aged 13 or over can use the site. If you're under 18, check with a parent or guardian that they're happy with you agreeing to these terms.

You don't need an account, and you don't pay anything. Glyphset may show ads in the future to cover running costs, but the tools stay free.

Every tool runs inside your own browser. When you type, code on the page swaps each letter and number for a Unicode character on your device. That keeps your text private, and it also means you are responsible for what you do with the result.

Each text box has a length cap, from 300 characters on some tools up to 5,500 on others. The caps keep the page fast on older phones, since a very long text is re-styled dozens of times with every key you press.

Look-alike letters are the big one. "𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻" looks like "amazon" but is a completely different string, which is why it gets used in fake accounts and scam links. Using our output that way breaks these terms and, in many countries, the law.

The styled characters themselves belong to no one. Letters like 𝒜, Ⓐ and Ａ are part of the Unicode Standard, a public character set that every modern phone and computer supports. We don't own them, and neither does anyone else.

So the text you create is yours to use however you like, including on commercial accounts. We don't claim any rights over it.

What we do own is the site itself: the page designs, the written guides, the tool code and the Glyphset name. Please don't copy those wholesale or present them as your own. Quoting a line with a link back is fine.

How the characters look depends on the viewer's device, not on us. Each phone and computer draws Unicode with its own fonts, so a style can look slightly different on another screen, and very old devices may show empty boxes.

You are. Instagram, TikTok, X, Discord and other apps have their own rules, and they can limit or remove text or accounts at any time. We're not responsible if an app rejects, trims or restricts something you pasted.

The character limits shown in our counters are based on each app's published limits at the time we built the tool. Apps change these without notice, so treat the counts as a guide rather than a guarantee.

No. The tools are provided free and "as is", without any warranty. We work to keep them accurate and online, but we can't promise every style will display everywhere or that the site will never be down.

To the extent the law allows, Glyphset isn't liable for losses that come from using the site or its output, such as a post being removed or a name being rejected. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Only a little. Fonts, icons and page styles are served from this site itself, not from third-party CDNs. If ads are running, Google AdSense has its own terms, and our Privacy Policy explains what it receives.

Yes. When we update them, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the new version.

We may also change, pause or remove any tool at any time, for example to fix a bug or keep up with changes on the apps our tools support.
