Glyphset is a free set of 21 text tools that turn normal typing into Unicode styles you can paste anywhere, with nothing to install and no account. Our mission is simple: make stylish text as easy as typing.
Most people who want a bold Instagram bio or a cursive Discord name don't want to learn how fonts work. They want to type "hello", tap a button and see 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 in their profile a second later. That's the whole job.

The Engineering Choice Behind Instant Local Browser Character Transformations
We made every tool run inside your browser instead of on a server. When you type, a small script swaps each letter for its styled Unicode twin right on your device. There's no round trip to a server, so the styles appear the moment you type.
The lookup tables are tiny. All the letter maps for a tool page come to about 5 KB, smaller than a single low-quality photo, so pages load quickly even on a patchy mobile connection.
This choice also protects your privacy. Your text never leaves your phone, and once a page has loaded, you can switch off your data and it keeps working. Our Privacy Policy spells out the details.
Why Unicode and not real fonts? A font only works if the reader has it installed. A Unicode character like 𝗔 travels with the text itself, so your followers see the same style you picked, on any app.
Maintaining Universal Readability Standards Across Evolving Social Applications
A style is only useful if other people can read it. So we favour characters that current iPhones, Android phones, Windows and Mac computers can all display, and we warn you on the page when a style is rarer and might show as boxes.
Apps change their rules often, so we build their limits into the tools. The X page counts styled letters as 2, the way X does. The YouTube page warns you that YouTube won't accept < or > in titles.

- Accessibility: we point out where screen readers struggle, so you can keep important details readable for everyone.
- Real counts: each card shows its true pasted length, including the hidden marks behind underlines and strikethroughs.
How can you help shape Glyphset?
Many of our best fixes start with someone saying "this style breaks on my phone". If a style looks wrong, an app changes its limits, or you want a tool we don't have yet, tell us.
